What else are you going to find on an asteroid?

Their is heaving pile of un-done dones. One project, which began in Janurary (and although it was supposed to be done in March, it will take a long long time to deal with) is about anatomy. Its the first in a series of projects intent on encouraging people to dedicate a proportion of their attention to science.

The second is a book about asteroids. Although its not really ABOUT asteroids it merely relates to them in an irrelevant and ridiculous (possible un-necessary) way. Its a nice break- Im getting a lot out of doing something for no reason.

Print and Streetfest 2010

Today I introduced some drawings to the RISOGRAPH- Which is almost describable as a screen printing photocopying machine. Here are some experiments, all of which will be for sale at STREETFEST on the 30/05/2010 at a stall which I will have the honor of sharing with some of my beautiful peers from Camberwell College of Art including the stunning prints of James Cartwright, Cressida Knapp, Natalie Kay-Thatcher and Rosie Chamberlain. Also SOULMIGHTY (Who's own designs and those by artists they admire adorn t-shirts, hand printed in their little workshop at home) and prints by the wonderful Suzannah Pettigrew of OVER IT AND CO.

Ill bring some more 'Pending in the Intermediate Lake' books, etchings, giclees and all my left over RISO prints will be bound in a book.

Mutate Britain featuring TWIGFACE

Tonight is the private view of MUTATE BRITAIN. A highly prolific event/exhibition of outstanding initiative and innovation that has been steadily growing underneath the Westway near Ladbrook Grove station. Ive seen it mutate over the last few weeks and it's looking exceptional. Its put together by the Mutoide Waste Co who brought you TRASH CITY. The people involved are fascinating and have done some outrageous, wonderful things. Im glad to be involved with them and to have seen all the other artists generate such an interesting space. Its going from 9th-25th of October 2009. There is lots of time for you to visit. Here is their blog

AND! You can purchase a beautiful giclee print of TWIGFACE (the owl I painted) here, the Mutate Britain online store!
